The Consultation

We start every project with a consultation, used not only to start the briefing process, but to delve right into where you are currently up to with your project, and help you with any immediate action points. Key to a successful project is a thorough knowledge of the requirements and expectations, the budget, the timeline, all structural changes, as well as the clients personal style, how they wish to use their home, and their current lifestyle. We will spend time refining all these points with you, and then respond with a Scope of Work and Estimate of Fees for review.

Design Development + Presentation

We interpret this brief by moving on to the intensive research and design stage. This starts with high level concept and mood boards, to ensure we have well and truly captured your vision of what you want your home to be, and are on the same page. We then start work on our detailed and comprehensive presentation, which includes floor plans, overall colour schemes, all finishes, custom joinery design, and interior architecture elements to create a complete picture of the the project. You will also be presented with our initial drawings reflecting joinery and layouts in key areas, as well as early cost estimates. We present this as a very collaborative part of the process, with lots of discussion to ensure these details are coming to life in just the right way.

Design Detail + Implementation

The concept will be refined and detailed through the finalising of the floorplans, elevations, lighting plans, joinery designs and plans. We carefully brief in and oversee all elements that we have designed for you. Custom items will be finessed and signed off, and schedules will be provided for all FF & E (Fixtures, Finishes & Equipment), including furniture items. All final finishes and samples will be viewed and approved, and supplier costs finalised and signed off. During this process the FF&E is procured and project managed, and we tap into our ‘black book’ of tried and tested partners to help bring the project to life - we have invested in relationships with trades, suppliers and craftspeople who align with our values of providing quality results, and high service to our clients. This stage includes site visits, supplier briefings, trade liaison, and supply of all the schedules and specifications required on site for building trades.

As the construction and building work is finalised, we manage delivery and installation of all the furnishings and decorative items - furniture, artwork, secondary lighting, soft furnishings, and accessories.
